Pain and treatment
toxicity show up in sleep
and HRV first.

Between infusions, nobody is watching. Ziva tracks HRV, sleep, resting heart rate, hydration and symptom burden every day, so your team sees rising toxicity, dehydration or a missed oral dose before it becomes an urgent call - or a preventable ED visit.

HIPAA compliant · Wearable insight + connected vitals devices · Infusion & oral-regimen protocols · CCM eligible

"Marion's resting heart rate is up fourteen beats and she's reported low fluid intake for three days — a dehydration pattern common at this point in the cycle. Flagged for a same-day call before it becomes an infusion-center visit."

The gap

The days between infusions
are where toxicity builds.

Pain, nausea, fatigue and dehydration don't wait for the next appointment - they accumulate over days the care team can't see, and often surface first as a physiological pattern rather than a phone call.

Pain and toxicity, unreported
Pain and treatment-related inflammation are known to suppress HRV and disrupt sleep - often before those symptoms are severe enough to prompt a call.
Dehydration between cycles
Reduced fluid intake during a regimen typically raises resting heart rate before dehydration becomes severe enough to need IV fluids.
Oral regimen adherence you can't see
Oral chemo and anti-emetic adherence drives outcomes as much as infusion attendance - and is invisible between visits.
The continuous care experience

A daily recovery record
for every patient in treatment.

Each patient has a daily point of contact and a daily physiological record, from day one of cycle one through survivorship.

01
Sleep, HRV & RHR overnight
Wearable captures recovery signal automatically - no manual logging required from a patient managing enough already.
02
Symptom check-in
Nausea, pain, fatigue, mucositis, appetite and fluid intake captured daily in plain language.
03
Isabella correlates
HRV and RHR trajectory against symptom onset against cycle day - the pattern, not just a single value.
04
Coaching between visits
Hydration, rest pacing, oral-dose timing and anti-emetic use reinforced the day it matters.
05
Escalation with the sequence
Your team gets the trend, symptoms and cycle-day context together - evidence for a supportive-care call, not just a number.

Ziva never adjusts or recommends chemotherapy dosing - it gives your team the daily evidence to make that decision themselves, faster.

How Ziva helps

What Ziva does
for an oncology practice.

Objective daily recovery signal plus subjective daily symptoms plus adherence - the three inputs that determine whether toxicity is caught in clinic or in the ED.

Recovery
HRV & sleep as a toxicity proxy
Pain and inflammation suppress HRV and fragment sleep before a patient reports either - trended against the patient's own baseline, not a population norm.
Hydration
Dehydration detection
Elevated resting heart rate, weight loss and reduced intake flagged together, early enough for a phone call instead of an IV-fluid visit.
Symptoms
Daily symptom burden
Nausea, pain, fatigue, mucositis and appetite tracked by cycle day, so decline is a curve your team can act on early.
Adherence
Oral chemo & anti-emetic adherence
Each oral regimen and supportive medication tracked separately - a missed anti-emetic dose is a very different signal from a missed TKI dose.
Context
Cycle-day correlation
Every signal is read against where the patient sits in their treatment cycle, not in isolation.
Survivorship
Long-term monitoring
Lighter-touch sleep, HRV and weight tracking between scans, so meaningful changes have a better chance of surfacing early.
Impact

Outcomes that matter
during active treatment.

Earlier detection changes the setting of care - a phone call and oral rehydration instead of an urgent infusion-center visit.

Billing, where applicable
CCM auto-captured; RPM if vitals device is used
Trajectory, not thresholds
A single low HRV reading is not the same event as a six-night pattern against personal baseline. Alerts reflect that.
Device quality
Validated wearable plus, where indicated, a cellular-connected scale or pulse oximeter. No phone pairing, no Bluetooth support calls.
Cross-condition
Many oncology patients also carry hypertension, diabetes or CKD. Protocols run together on one patient record.
Time logs for billing
Every monitoring and care-management minute captured and exportable - see the reimbursement section below.

Overlapping conditions

Cancer care rarely stands alone.

Many oncology patients carry comorbid conditions Ziva already runs protocols for, all on the same record.

Reimbursement

CCM is the primary fit —
RPM applies to connected vitals only.

RPM CPT codes require an FDA-defined medical device that transmits automatically - a connected scale, BP cuff or pulse oximeter. HRV and sleep from a consumer wearable inform Isabella's clinical picture but are not themselves billable under RPM. Most patients in active treatment do meet CCM's two-chronic-condition threshold, and many practices also layer Principal Illness Navigation time for the cancer diagnosis - confirm current codes and eligibility with your billing team.

99457First 20 min interactive care management — ~$48

CCM — 99490 / 99439
Patients with two or more chronic conditions expected to last 12+ months
99490First 20 min clinical staff time / month — ~$62
